General Objetives:
Learn symbols and sounds that allow for basic communication characterized by simple, practical, and descriptive dialogues in Latin
American, specifically Argentine, Spanish. Basic Spanish (grammar,
pronunciation, and conversation) skills are developed.

This level moves deep into Argentine history, customs and characteristics.
The culture, politics, science and
sports of Argentina are studied via a wide range of texts, comments from a local TV station, and radio
programs.
Superior
(80 hours)
With this level you will understand main ideas, the
majority of movies, and participate effectivelly in most formal and informal conversations, even those that are linguistically complex and cover social, professional, and abstract topics.
Your communication will be fluent and only rarely will you
have gaps in your vocabulary.
You will have great progress in your study of Spanish and
Latin America culture and civilization, practicing conversation on history and
popular traditions.
You will feel confident using Spanish. You will be able to
express yourself with clarity and in the appropriate way in written communication. You
will be able to express yourself effectively in most formal and informal writings on different
topics. You will be able to write most types of correspondence, such as memos as well as social
and business letters, and writings within areas of your special interest or special fields.
You will be able to read with complete comprehension on
unfamiliar subjects and a variety of literary texts, and understand almost all
sociolinguistic and cultural topics.
At this level, we will practice the grammar and the modisms
learned in the previous levels.
