When I started classes with Mercedes and Nelida at the school I knew no Spanish! I didn’t even know the Spanish alphabet! But at the end of two weeks with The Buenos Aires Centre, I was able to get around in taxis, restaurants and shops by myself - and I could even make a little light conversation with the Porteneas. Learning Spanish at The Buenos Aires Centre was a wonderful experience for me and made my visit to Argentina so much more enjoyable than it would have been otherwise. The learning was challenging, because the classes were mostly conducted in Spanish, but with the generous and clear guidance of my teachers I found that I was able to improve a little each day. I am looking forward to making many return visits to the school and to continuing my study of Spanish. Thank you Nelida and Mercedes.
